Past, Present and Future Tag ..

Another tag from Gasper. Tags are like forwards, when you get one, you get the same one some three times from three different sets of friends. If Gasper tags me, I am sure I will see Rat, Soo etc doing the same tag. The exception will be people like Sand who have dedicated their blogs to once in a year technology updates J.

The tag:

Two questions in each category answer them and then tag your friends from the blog-o-sphere.

I. Yesterday

A. Your oldest memories

Gasper has gone to great lengths in fishing out his oldest memories. Even engg days are listed under his oldest memories. I wonder how old he considers himself to be now ;) Not to be left behind, Rat has come up with a list of his curricular and extra-curricular activities till tenth. Soo can’t force herself to stop even after listing out 15 of her oldest and fondest memories, so she has announced the rest to a new post.

Oldest memory is a confusing term for a memory challenged person like me. Memorizing stuff has been one of my weakest points. I used to prefer maths over bio because the latter involved a lot of memorizing. I don’t remember my birthday, your birthday or even my better half’s birthday. The first two are comparatively harmless compared to the consequences of the third action J

I don’t have any vivid memories of my childhood. I have tried hard to remember things happened before my school days and all I remember are two cloudy events. One in which me tripping on something while running around my preschool, falling, my head banging on the side of school varandha, and me getting a permanent mark under my eyebrow. The second memory is of my friend and me bending down and looking under the passing vehicles to check for something, while we were taken back from our preschool. I forgot what we were checking, but we used to do that religiously whenever any vehicle passed by us.

B. What were you doing ten years ago?

Going gasper’s way, ten years back, in 1998 Nov, I had just joined CET and Bethany hostel. I think my classes started towards Nov end. Soon after I joined my hostel, it was time for our Xmas celebration. I remember we all doing night outs decorating the hostel, under Koshy’s decoration committee. One of those days, after a night’s toil, may be around 4 in the morning, the committee members were all assembled near Bethany college, a couple of them on top of coconut trees extracting ripe coconuts while the others waiting patiently for the fruits to come down. I guess that’s what I was doing ten years back, enjoying my wasteful years.

II. Today

A. Your first thought in the morning

Nothing specific. I wake up with a blank to-do-list and keep adding stuff to it as and when I am faced with something. So there are no recurring thoughts in the mornings.

B. If you build a time capsule what would it contain?

The obvious choice for me will be a memory device which stores all my fav pictures. But then, now that I have dropped and damaged my external hard disk which had all my pictures so far, I am thinking about having a number of memory devices J, if at all I decide to rebuild.

III. Tomorrow

A. This year…

A year which taught me to take my work seriously. So far ‘layoff’ was a term which used to mean somebody lost job somewhere. When I see lookups on names of some my teammates from across the glob returning blanks, I realize the meaning of that term. But unlike the majority who say this is not a stable carrier and they would want to look out for something else, I still want to hang on, I still like my job and I want to continue in this industry. I like the challenges associated with my job.

The tomorrows of this year look promising as usual. A trip home is planned and so is the annual release of our product. Exciting days ahead.

B. What do you see yourself doing 14 years from now?

Driving an imported SUV through the beaches of Goa. Add the ownership title of the beach bungalow where I am going to park that SUV to the wish list, will ya?

I am still way too materialistic J

Deadly secrets about me

According to Jiby, tags are a good way to come back to blogging with a bang. Here is one passed on by him.

1. LAST MOVIE YOU SAW IN A THEATER: I don’t remember. I know I haven’t watched Jodha Akbar, Race, Michael Clayton or anything else in the recent weeks. So it has to be that all time crap Om Shanthi Om. Pathetic movie it is.

2. WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING? Haven’t read anything for months. I just browse through ‘Randaamoozham’ every once in a while, going through random chapters, especially when I go to the loo before the day’s newspaper arrives.

3. FAVORITE BOARD GAME? Quit playing board games long back. Used to play Chess as a kid.

4. FAVORITE MAGAZINE? OutLook. Can’t stand India Today or The Week. Used to love KalaKoumudi of olden days when M.Krishnan Nair and all used to write for it.

5. FAVORITE SMELLS? Shucks!, is it alzheimer's or am I getting older? Can’t think of anything special.

6. FAVORITE SOUND? Revving of my car when I take a spinning turn.

7. WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD? The one you get when you are turned down by close friends.

8. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU WAKE? Is it a weekday or a weekend?

9. FAVORITE FAST FOOD PLACE? Used to love most of US’s breakfast chains. Since every other blogger has included Thattukadas in this answer, so be it. The ones near Medical College which used to be open till early morning.

10. FUTURE CHILD'S NAME? Dhridharashtrar or Drishtyadhrumyan

11. FINISH THIS STATEMENT. "IF I HAD A LOT OF MONEY I'D...? Buy all the cars and bikes I want and a house with a MLPL (Multi Level Parking Lot). Mr. Ambani, is your under construction house for sale?

12. DO YOU DRIVE FAST? Yea.

But since everybody else has taken this question as an opportunity to proclaim their philanthropy and safe driving practices, let me follow suit. I speed only on clear roads when I am sure I won’t cause accidents.

13. DO YOU SLEEP WITH A STUFFED ANIMAL? No. I have a feeling that this is some kind of a trick question though.

14. STORMS-COOL OR SCARY? Cool (as long as I am indoors).

15. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR? Hyundai Accent.

16. FAVORITE DRINK? Vodka with Coke. Vodka gets removed from the answer when I need a politically correct answer.

17. FINISH THIS STATEMENT, "IF I HAD THE TIME I WOULD ..... be doing more or less the same things I am doing now. I am not hard pressed for time.

18. DO YOU EAT THE STEMS ON BROCCOLI? I don’t even eat Broccoli, forget about the stem.

19. IF YOU COULD DYE YOUR HAIR ANY COLOR, WHAT WOULD BE YOUR CHOICE? Nothing prevents me from dyeing my hair any color of my choice. But since I haven’t done that, I think that’s how I like my hair to look. So with you Jiby, BLACK!

20. NAME ALL THE DIFFERENT CITIES/TOWNS YOU HAVE LIVED IN. Pala, Mangalore, Trivandrum, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chicago.

21. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH? Cricket, football, tennis.

22. ONE NICE THING ABOUT THE PERSON WHO SENT THIS TO YOU. The courage to attempt to follow his dream.

23. WHAT'S UNDER YOUR BED? Nothing.

24. WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE BORN AS YOURSELF AGAIN? I don’t know. May be no.

25. MORNING PERSON, OR NIGHT OWL? Night. I just can’t get up early. Staying back as late as it takes has never been an issue for me (for anything other than studies)

26. OVER EASY, OR SUNNY SIDE UP? Sunny side up. Partly because that’s a safe thing to say in most of the breakfast joints when they list down before you the innumerable egg preparations.

27. FAVORITE PLACE TO RELAX? Couch opposite TV.

28. FAVORITE PIE? I hate pies.

29. FAVORITE ICE CREAM FLAVOR? I don’t like ice creams.

30. OF ALL THE PEOPLE YOU TAGGED THIS TO, WHO'S MOST LIKELY TO RESPOND FIRST? I tag Rat, Sand, Vimal and Surya. My guess is Rat.

Geo the brat!

Ok. Quills the princess has ordered me to write about my childhood :) Its called ‘The Wonder Years Tag’. The tag is to list 8-10 things that you liked as a child (0-12 years) and 8-10 things you disliked. I don’t remember too much about my childhood, guess I am getting old. Just some vague images flashing…

1. When I think about the happy times of my childhood, the best memory I have is about a Christmas Eve night journey. I was very young. All my dad’s siblings and their families gather together at my ancestral home for all the major occasions. So this time, for some reason I couldn’t reach my ancestral home until the day before xmas (I don’t remember the reason now). All my cousins were enjoying there. My dad’s youngest bro came to pick me up late in the evening, and that night journey to my ancestral home, where all my relatives were waiting for me, all the houses on both sides of the road decorated with stars and lightings, all the people on the roads and junctions celebrating xmas… that journey was too good. One of the best memories I have about my childhood.

2. The next thing that comes to my mind is about the time I have enjoyed on play grounds. As a kid, I (and my friends) used to play cricket in the rubber plantations, football in paddy fields (after harvest), shuttle in our courtyard and then a lot of other simpler games. We used to play till our moms practically dragged us in.

3. Theres a somewhat big water stream near my place. Its not as big as a river, but it still had enough and more adventures packed for us kids, especially during monsoon. We used to spend hours and hours there taking bath, swimming, diving, and fishing with our towels etc.

4. Daytime was entirely dedicated to games or water sports :_) When I was doing neither, I was cycling. I used to go cycling through the inner roads, ‘inventing’ a new route whenever possible. Used to enjoy those cycle rides through the countryside.

5. I remember the school annual celebrations. It used to be so much fun. All of us participating in something or the other… Me being the shameless exhibitionist I am, I used to be part of as many events as I could. I still remember those dramas with painted faces, skits etc… One added advantage was the prizes and cash awards which we used to get on the annual day.

6. In line with what I have written as point 1, the time I have spent with my family is truly priceless. The thing that I miss most these days. Whenever we all are together, it’s a real festival.

Now the things that I dislike.

1. First and foremost – Sunday school :_) Used to have endless negotiations with my mom to arrive at treaties where by I was to attend one, and then bunk the next two and so on :_). The threat that they wont let us marry if we don’t pass 10th grade catechism was the only factor which motivated me to drag myself in ;_) (Looking back, I should be proud that I was very clear about my priorities in life from a very young age ;)

2. I used to hate it when we were forced by the school authorities to attend ‘first Friday’ prayers, retreats or any such religious activities.

Cant think of anything else. I don’t remember hating any specific food items, or studies or anything like that. I don’t even regret having a lot of ‘street fights’ ‘school fights’ (corrected after Venus's exclamation) with my class mates. That too was fun. I think I really enjoyed most of the other things about my childhood.

The blog tag

Alexis has tagged me with this one, to write about my blog.

1. Are you happy/satisfied with your blog, with its content and look? Does your family know about your blog?

I am satisfied with this crap, otherwise I wud have hit that Delete button long back. I have hand picked each topic to project those aspects of my persona which I want to be projected. I keep changing the look and feel of my blog as and when I please. So I am satisfied with the content and the look of my blog.

Except for a single member, no one from my family knows about my blog. (And a hi 5 to you the single member, I know you are reading this.)

2. Do you feel embarrassed to let your friends know about your blog or you just consider it as a private thing?

Hmm yes and no. I want some of my friends to see my blog and at the same time wish to hide it from some others.

3. Did blogs cause positive changes in your thoughts?

I don’t think so. I don’t think it changed anything substantial.

4. Do you only open the blogs of those who comment on your blog or you love to go and discover more by yourself?

These days, yes. I used to blog hop during my initial days of blogging, not anymore. Now very much happy with the circle of friends I have made here.

5.What does visitors counter mean to you?Do you care about putting it in your blog?

Yes I have put visitor's counter in my blog. The fact that there are some people to read whatever trash I write is the only thing that motivates me to write.

6. Did you try to imagine your fellow bloggers and give them real pictures?

Usually, I don’t do it. When it comes to imagination, I am pathetic. So unless I have seen your pic, I picture a blank face, whenever ur name is mentioned.

7. Admit. Do you think there is a real benefit for blogging?

Yea… I have made a lot of friends through blogging. In fact the only close friend I have right now in the vicinity is someone I met on the blogworld. So it does help. ( I know you too are reading this, so a hi 5 to you too)

8. Do you think that bloggers society is isolated from real world or interacts with events?

I don’t think its isolated or anything. Blogging is so much part of everyone's net life these days that any TDH you meet will have a blog of his own. So its very much part of the mainstream.

9. Does criticism annoy you or do you feel it’s a normal thing?

Not at all. I am open for criticism. I do criticize others, so I make it a point to listen carefully when I am being criticized.

10. Do you fear some political blogs and avoid them?

Show me one.

11. Did you get shocked by the arrest of some bloggers?

Nah.

12. Did you think about what will happen to your blog after you die?

I don’t even think about whats going to happen to me tomorrow. So do you expect me to think about whats going to happen to my blog after me? I very much live for the day.

13. What do you like to hear? What’s the song you might like to put a link to in your blog?

I am not a songaholic. Songs are the things which I put as background noise when I work. So don’t have anything to pick for this section.

I tag Venus :)

A picture tag

Here is tag from Alexis. Sorry Alexis, I am a bit late :)
Here I go...

1. Most desired celebrity

Aishwarya Rai
I am crazy about this super personality. Indian but truly international. A face which will cheer you up and a smile that will knock you down.

2. Want to do this some day

Scoring a goal in a world cup match. Going out there in the middle, sharing the same field with those giants, and then tossing the ball in.

3. Want to visit this place

Yea rite. It’s a podium. Yes, an F1 podium. I am crazy about driving. So nothing like being invited to that ‘place’ for all the right reasons :) Let me make it clear - I dont follow F1, just that I am crazy about driving.

4. Random Favorite

Do you recognize this guy? Yea he is the living legend - Diego Armando Maradona. God of millions of football fans. I like him for his heroism in bringing up his club and his country from nowhere to the spot light. And then for fighting all on his own and coming back even after being ignored by everybody else, . This god was there in the stands this time, for each Argentina match, cheering them. I admire him for his spirit.

5. I was tagged by Alexis.
Comment:Post the picture of the place where you were tagged, and if you picked up the tag yourself then the picture of the place you picked it from. Click on the image to see the enlarged view.

Tagging the kickass dude.

What goes around, comes around

‘Tag and get tagged’ has become the in thing these days… here comes another one from the one and only Quills the Bachelorette, darling of the blog world and Bachelorette union chair-person…

5 people who top your shit list..... and why:

Ok… I am no saint… I maintain my (s)hit list.
  1. An old friend of mine who turned against me at a crucial juncture…
  2. An old classmate who plotted a major show-off, which triggered the above mentioned incident.
  3. Another old classmate who acted smart and made the best out of the above situation, thus spoiling my reputation.
  4. Cant think of any other individuals … so here comes two groups…people who think they are always right and people who think only they are right.
  5. People who misuse whatever little power or authority they have thereby making life difficult for others.

Close brushes with death/danger:

This I had plenty :_)….

A project party sometime back…a resort…a river… fast current, deep waters….some stupid challenge….me plunged head first…when I was half way through, I had a cramp in my right thigh, I couldn’t swim any more… I drowned and the water was twice as high as me… I still don’t know how I came back up and managed to paddle thru the rest of it… one hell of an exp… the pain when your lungs are deprived of air is indescribable.

Some bike stunts ;_)) don’t want to bore my friends with another narration…

5 Preferable modes of suicide, in descending order:

Honestly, I have never thought of that door… I am damn self confident and egoistic to admit defeat or give up…in fact over confidence is one of my weaknesses ;_))

5 Guilty pleasures:

I subscribe to the viewpoint ‘anything pleasurable is not guilty’….I have a natural tendency to go grab/do all those things which are considered taboo/guilty, that too without the slightest sense of guilt…

5 things you never want to forget:

  1. The good times I had/have with my family and friends.
  2. cant think of anything else… so drilling down on the above item… each and every family gettogether was special…
  3. my engineering life… four years of carefree life… all the trips our gang had…
  4. my Mumbai life… 12 crazy guys/gals… fun filled days… enjoyable trips…
  5. then the Bangalore episode… script remains the same…more movies… more trips…more fun…
5 things you wish to forget:

I usually don’t forget and I don’t want to forget also :_)
scores should be settled…debts should be paid back…

5 really exotic dishes you have tried:

I thot of googling to come up with stuff like Reindeer’s right thigh roasted with Emu heart or something similar…. But then I thot I cud write about some out of the world delicacies I have had…

  1. Frog-leg fry :- you will appreciate this more when you are involved in the process of ‘procuring’ the frog from the nearby paddy fields and small streams, post midnight, armed with just a torch and a sack to collect frogs.
  2. River fish :- again when you yourself do the ‘catching’ process. Easy way of doing this is by tying a long net across the river and then coming back after an hour or so to collect the tangled fish. Another way is to use a ‘Veeshu Vala’ (the typical round conical shaped net) which you ‘throw’ open, which lands in water in a perfect circle and drowns because of the weight of the lead beads tied to the rim, and comes back with priced ‘catch’.
  3. Crow, parrot :- prey to the bullet which was released when you pulled the trigger.
  4. Vedi Irachi (Shikaar meat) – Just awesome!!
  5. Forrest rabbit:- again, taste is augmented by the fact that the rabbit was caught by your group which chased it all along the rubber estate… or by (accidentally) running your vehicle over it in a high-range forest trip…
I know some of the entries above are a bit sadistic…but then facts are facts… I am a pure-non-vegetarian.

I thank my dad’s bro for allowing me to be with him for the above mentioned endeavors… He used to take me out for a new adventure, each time I visited my homestead… I miss those days :_(

5 crushes/loves in your life... in chronological order (even initials or nicknames wud do. Oh, no ID attempts or requests pleez):

Here again I can write ‘that girl who smiled at me when I fell down in LKG, or the girl who drank from my water bottle in std 2’ and so on … … but… let me be frank… apart from a handful of movie stars like Ms A Rai, Ms B Basu, Ms M Bellucci or Ms C Anne Moss, I don’t remember having real life crushes… the grown up me (as far as I can remember) was always level headed in this one aspect… i was always looking out for friendships and not for affairs… so naturally….well…u know…u got what I meant…rite? ;_))

Strangest dream you ever had:

I had this dream a couple of times… in this... I am sleeping on a bed… the problem is I am in a gigantic room… walls are tall and wide…I am lying on my bed in one corner of the room and the room is so vast, I cant see the other corners of the room or the roof…only me and my bed are small…then there is a zoom out effect, and I feel my bed and me going up slowly and endlessly…. towards the end, I invariably fall off the bed, and I wake up from my sleep…havnt yet got a chance to see what happens on my way down…:_))

5 most valued personal possessions:

  1. bike
  2. cell.
  3. some cards and letters.
  4. some gifts.
  5. and c cards… :_)

5 favorite superheroes..... and why:

I am not a cartoon lover… in fact all throughout my life (even when I was a child), I have treated cartoons to be too childish an affair to pay attention to… (Exceptions: I do watch T&J and read C&H). So I really don’t care a damn about all those undy-over-pants super heroes. Now if I tweak the question to five of my fav fictional characters, then here I go…

  1. Tarzan: I like the concept of being the king… even if ur subjects are all apes and gorillas… who cares as long as you are treated royally… besides the added advantage of having a Jane to literally hang around trees is really tempting to say the least…
  2. Sherlock Holmes: He IS intelligent like me.
  3. Bheem of Mahabharata. Please read ‘Randamoozham’ to understand why.
  4. Phileas Fogg: Isnt it cool to kick start a trip around the world just for the heck of a bet and finish it in 79 days?
  5. Santiago: Courage is what it takes to pursue your dream after sacrificing all you have.

5 people who should pass the parcel…

  1. Hope and Love
  2. Venus
  3. jithU
  4. Thanu
  5. AF Space

Dream Girl

Poison and Silverine are the culprits for the insanity you gonna read now. This tag is to list down 8 points abt the ‘perfect lover’ I have in mind. Damn serious business with some rules and regulations including but not limited to saying three ‘Hail Mary’s before starting and many such... I liked Poison’s serious approach but I have decided to liberally use the license given by Silverine, yes, the license to dream.

  1. She should know how to manoeuver an automobile. Check out third of my 'Seven-things-you-plan-to-do-before-you-die!!' stuff for another tag. Mastery of a cruiser bike will fetch extra points.
  2. Its my dream girl, let her be as beautiful as Aish. Please allow me to wish for a face that will make my day, for, every time I look in a mirror, I get a mild heart attack. There was a standing joke in my class about my face being slightly ‘smoother’ and ‘better looking’ than an old worn out aluminum pot.
  3. I have mentioned this somewhere else. She should be girly/feminine when it comes to small things and at the same time matured and capable of handling big things in life on her own.
  4. I prefer an engineer. Not to have those pseudo-intellectual technology discussions post supper, but because only a girl whos been through the portals of an engineering college will be in a position to take my monkey tricks in the right sense and appreciate em.
  5. Deep down, I am a typical Pala achayan, so all those feminists, lets call truce. I am not looking for a work sharing formula. Like we all know, whats life without 'Beef Ulathiyathu', Chicken Roast, and all the other typical central Travancore dishes. So me lookin for someone who can feed me, as I am a novice when it comes to cooking. For washing, lets have a pact with IFB. And for ironing, I don’t mind letting her decide what I need to wear to office, and making sure it looks good. I guess I have covered all the major points about day-to-day life.
  6. What abt one who knows singing and dancing? When I start singing, people around me suddenly start thinking of migrating to nearby nations. So it’s a good idea to have the company of someone who knows the art. I have some hidden motives behind that dancing bit. In parties, when I start dancing, (most of the time) others pick up their dishes. So if I have a partner who dances well, I can just tap my feet occasionally, pretend as if I am a great dancer, and then boast to my friends that she first fell in love with my dancing and so on and so forth...
  7. I am a football/party lover. So if she is fascinated about some indoor hobbies like reading, knitting, bonsai-ing etc etc, I guess it will be a perfect balance. You know what I mean, ;-), right?
  8. I love body massage.
Me passing this to Venus, AF and Flash. I am sure Flash will make a mess out of this :_D

Don’s 20

Its tagging season and jithU tagged me...

I am... – my space-time and some junk coordinates

3. I am a software engineer by profession, and unlike most software professionals, I love my job.

9. I am from the ‘gods own country’ of the nation of ‘snake charmers, maharajas, elephant rides and tiger hunts’. I speak the wonderful tongue-twisting tongue popularly known as Mallu.

4. I am an atheist as far as my religion and beliefs (or the lack of them) go.

18. I am a pure non-vegetarian.

I believe... – my guiding principles or the lack of them

1. I believe in the simple principle ‘do unto others as they have done unto you”, and this forms the basis of my interaction with others. Thus, my relationship with a person starts with the assignment of 0 points to him/her, no matter how good or how bad are the stories I have heard about him/her. With each interaction, I add or subtract points, and at any point of time, my interaction with that person depends on his balance point. And, no, I don’t carry around a notepad to note down the points, it happens automatically. The only exception to the above rule is for the ladies, who get a +10 points head start in the beginning ;_)

2. I believe there are no ‘rights’ and ‘wrongs’, no ‘absolute-goodness’ and ‘to-be-dreaded-evil’.

19. I believe in the power of human mind, and I am sure I, or anybody else, will be able to do anything, yes just about anything, if the need/urge is strong enough.

5. I believe in ‘do what you wanna do, be what you wanna be’. So sometimes, I don’t do things which I don’t feel like doing.

I love... – rational motives for my existence

7. I love to spend time with my family. My dad’s fam (cousins and uncles) is like a close friend gang with teasing, gossiping, rumors and laughter doing rounds all the time. My cousin got married last week. After the function, the gilrs’ family came to drop her at my cousin’ place. When the relatives were getting ready to leave, we (uncles, cousins) approached the girl with questions like “Arent u gonna cry...? ur parents...all these years... they r going back... u no crying?” That poor thing started crying very soon. That was when my dad chipped in by asking my cousin to join in if he feels like doing so...

10. I love to be with my friends, to party, go for trips and have a merry jolly time. I manage to do this most of the time.

12. I love to drive automobiles. I am absolutely crazy about driving. An offer to allow me to drive an automobile is the easiest way to lure me into anything.

16. I love playing badminton and football - The sports I used to play as a kid and a teenager and the ones I enjoy the most.

I hate... – Turnoffs

17. I hate it when my colleagues are unprofessional in professional business.

8. I hate to be kept waiting when somebody is late for an appointment. I appreciate punctuality a lot.

11. I hate to stand in Qs. I try to pay everything through my ICICI infinity account or my credit cards :_)

20. I hate hard rock, heavy metal, for no particular reason.

Miscellaneous...

13. My spelling is atrocious. A full page without M$ Word and WordWeb is next to impossible. (The first atrocious I tried here had two‘t’s in it) :_)

6. I think I am open-minded. I try to treat relationships with discretion and respect. I also try to be logical and rational as far as possible. (All these as long as my temper is under my control)

14. The reason why I took computers for engineering was that I had taken electronics for my PUC and was fed up with it. :_)

15. “Burning the bridges behind you...” has always happened in my life.... always....

Tugged!!! Or is it Tagged???

Goddess of satire has tagged me. Here are the seven things that I have to reveal about me in all honesty. Like a Q&A session where the questioner is my intelligence, answerer is my identity and the judge is my conscience. You, the Jury member, may kindly leave your feedback behind.

Seven things you plan to do before you die!!

1. Become the chief of the company where I am working now. Every TDH wants to start his own company. It has become the norm these days. I always try to stand out in the crowd :_)
2. Own a light gold Tata Safari Dicor VX asap (Not planning to delay the implementation of this one for too long, and yes, I am very much particular about the color.)
3. Lay back and relax on the spread out co-driver seat of a red Ferrari F430, while my lady drives it through Miami Beach. Pretty materialistic, rite?
4. Work from as many countries as I can (Just to make my passport pages colorful.)
5. Try to play club football, at least in Indian clubs. I know its too late for this, but then, you never know.
6. Revenge
7. Buy a hill station cottage or a coorg coffee plantation with a villa and a nearby clubhouse.

Seven things you can do!!

1. Boast abt myself endlessly.
2. Drive without halt forever.
3. Go on doing trips and treks back to back tirelessly.
4. Be extremely friendly with people as long as they are friendly.
5. Strike up perfect rapport with my boss soon after I join his team, and then spoil all that and end up in his shoot-at-sight list for the silliest of reasons and that too at the drop of a hat...Of late, I have become an expert in this art form. :_(
6. Delivering an entire module overnight. You may think I am exhibiting proof for point number 1, but this is a fact, and this very fact is the reason for the first part of point number 5.
7. Do foolish things just for a bet or a challenge.

Seven things you can't do!!!

1. Hide my temper. Slowly I have started overcoming this. This in fact is the reason for the second part of point number 5 in the above section.
2. Forget her.
3. Be nice to people who are not nice to me. I am pretty primitive in this aspect. Blood for blood. Eye for eye.
4. Sing. I really miss not being able to do this.
5. Dance. This too... especially after the mockery of dance I do in parties... :-(
6. Play any musical instrument. I wish I knew at least drums or guitar. By now, u must have understood that I am a musically, artistically and aesthetically challenged person.
7. Surpass Sidin’s hits :_) If you know who Sidin is, and what his hit count is, you will appreciate that statement. Else, go Google.

Seven things that attract you to the opposite sex!!

2. Cheerfulness (she should brighten my life, you know...)
3. Honesty and Open mindedness (she should be open to ideas...you can stop that giggle)
4. Should command chivalry in an elegant fashion.
5. Should be girly|feminine in small things of life.
6. Should be matured and capable of handling big things of life on her own.
7. Physical attributes. I mean...you got it, rite?... I know if I don’t admit this, this list will surely lack credibility. ;_) To be very frank, I don’t claim to live in a platonic world. But mind you, this is last and the least important, trust me.

Seven things you say most!!!
1. I mean...
2. See, its like...
3. Yea that’s correct.
4. You know what,...

6. HRH Haya Al Bint Hussein of Jordan. This is just for the money part...ok?
7. HH Princess Alexandra of Denmark, Countess of Frederiksborg. I have a special affinity for the blue blood. My Bomaby friends will vouch for this ;_)

Now there are five open invitations ;_) If you havnt done this crazy thing yet, please take it forward.

If you have managed to reach thus far, its time for the disclaimers.

Yes, whatever you read so far was truth, truth and the only truth.

It was a tuff job to, you know, get some presentable facts. For instance, if I start listing ‘all the things I cant do’, then not 7, not 77, not even 777 will suffice. And about the things I really wanna do, its again dreams unlimited. The tuffest part was filling up wanna-do-things, that’s when I realized that I just don’t have anything concrete in my mind, only hazy clouds. And i really struggled to reach upto number 7 for things-I-can-do, first two or three were real easy, then it was an uphill journey.

Thanks Silverine. You made me use some cells that were about to be extinct due to lack of activity.
